Jean Francis Barcena [project staff]
Jean Francis Barcena is a communication specialist who has training in media studies, health communication and promotion, social media marketing, advocacy, and community development work. She taught media and communication courses for four years and worked as a social media producer for one of the biggest news media organizations in the Philippines from 2015 to 2016. She is currently the communications coordinator of the Social Innovation in Health Initiative, a global project supported by TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases.
